Inside the book

What you will take from it

I

A way of seeing

A single, coherent account that holds physics, life and mind together, and shows you where each piece belongs.

II

A method you can test

Not conclusions to accept on trust, but reasoning laid out in order, so you can check every step and judge for yourself.

III

Company in the big questions

Meaning, freedom, grief, God and mortality: the questions that do not go away, faced with honesty and care.

The illusion is not that you exist. The illusion is that you exist alone.

Purchases are completed with the retailer you choose. This website never takes payments and never asks for card details.

Do I need a background in philosophy or physics?

No. I AM was written to carry a rigorous argument to the general reader, without the more austere academic language. It is not an easy book, and says so. It asks for your attention rather than prior knowledge.

Is it a religious book?

No. The author holds no allegiance to any established faith, and the book was not written to defend one. It does, however, arrive at the question of God, and treats every tradition it meets with respect.
